Avatar's direct damage increase makes it the most effective burst, and it lines up with your other major cooldowns. Bloodbath may do more damage than avatar overall, but it's a DoT, and thus, is not a true burst. Storm Bolt will cause you to DR too much with your other talents, and will make your burst quite lackluster. Tier 6: Avatar is the recommended talent. It offers good mitigation for your team-mates on a very short cooldown, as well as a snare/root breaker for yourself. Tier 5: Safeguard is the recommended talent. The freedom from it may seem attractive, but it's not worth losing shockwave. The damage is horribly low, and it doesn't offer any control on your enemy team. Bladestorm is a terrible talent choice, never use it. While Dragon Roar has some impressive burst, it's poor and unreliable control makes it fall in comparison to shockwave.

Tier 4: Shockwave is the only recommended talent. Against melees, Staggering shout is your best bet. However, this choice is useless against melee's. An extra kick which also has an extra range gives you amazing pressure against healers, as well as a way to counter "juking" (you can purposefully let your pummel get juked, to then Disrupt the unsuspecting Healer). Tier 3: While all three talents are useful in their ways, Disrupting Shout is amongst the best talent choices of this tier. While the other two choices offer some interesting healing options, Second Wind's rage generation is something you cannot pass on. Tier 2: Second Wind is the only recommended talent. If you want more mobility while not DRing your stuns, Juggernaut is the recommended choice. The snare that is also applied makes Warbringer a very effective way to peel off your healer. While lacking the mobility of other talents, Warbringer offers you the most reliable stun available to warriors, in terms of cooldown and duration. Tier 1: Warbringer is the strongly recommended choice.
